We will be doing a lot, but there should be ample down time. We have more than three days with no park visits.

p.s. I did call and change the one reservation I had to make for 3 to 2. Just had to wait a while to be within the proper booking window.

I only see one problem! You did not invite me to come with you!!!!

Those are great choices!! Have you done the WS Segway tour? DH and I did this a few years ago and it was SOO much fun..next on my list will be the FW Segway Tour..I'd love to hear how the two compare!

And..I don't think you can go wrong with three Boma ADR's...the more Zebra Domes & Frunch the better!

We haven't done either Segway tour but I'm very excited (DW would be, but it's a s'prise). I've read a number of reviews from people who've done both that prefer the FW tour (even though they loved the WS tour). Apparently there is now a Future World tour as well. I want to try them all biggrin

Is there just better space for Segway-ing in FW?

This is gonna be awesome! Your trip sounds like so much fun! I'm really excited to read the report as well as see your real time updates (if you do them mickey ). Thanks for letting us chime in while you were planning your trip!

From what I've heard they use a different kind of Segway..they are more like all terrain Segways with huge tires..and you can go over rocks and dips and stuff.

The nerd in me really loved the history lesson given by the guide & being in the park before it opened.

From what I've read the major difference is the amount of time you actually get to spend riding(?) the Segway. The FW tour you get 1.5-2 hours (tours are at 0830 and 1100) actually tooling about on the Segway after a half hour of training. The WS tour consists of a full hour of training and one hour touring. They are both technically two hour experiences, but according to those who've done them you get more Segway bang for your buck at FW. Again though, the WS tour is apparently top notch as well. I plan to do both, just chose FW first.

That's interesting. I suppose the extra training could be good for those of us who maybe aren't as coordinated (me)

I went back and looked (I'm on my netbook and it's not terribly easy for quick reading, so forgive me if you've answered), but I didn't see if you've decided how much time you're going to spend checking out Harry Potter?

The answer is zero I'm afraid. We would like to check it out at some point, but visiting all six parks (or even five) in one week is a bit hectic. Being that there were other things I wanted to do in the World, there just wasn't enough time to include them all without it being a 'commando' trip like the last one. Looking forward to spending at least a little time relaxing this trip. We'll get there at some point though.

I think that's a wise decision. It gives you a theme for a future trip, plus you can wait until the buzz has died down a little bit. I'm not sure I could stay away if I was in Orlando though. We haven't been to Universal in quite a while either (or Disney for that matter, but even longer for Universal), so I feel like we'll probably go to HP when we go next. Whenever that is! crossfingers
