Tourtuga Tavern - anyone eaten here?

Really? I wasn't that impressed with it.

I think it really depends on it you like "fix it yourself" type restaurants. You're given plain taco shells with a plop of meat in them and then you take it to the toppings bar and add what you want. Pretty average flavor-wise.

No, no I know the difference, because I love Pecos Bills. That was my experience at Tortuga Tavern. Maybe the menu at Tortuga changed last year?

This is what I ate at Tortuga Tavern. When it came through the window it was just Tortilla and Meat (looks like there were black beans too), I put the toppings on myself. It wasn't bad, it was just kinda boring for my taste. Basic Taco Bell, only less flavor.

I remember liking the Nachos that you see in the background. Those were put together in the kitchen, not at the serve yourself bar.

I like burritos. And I like spicy food. And with some hot sauce I don't find it too bland at all. To me, some marinated beef or chicken, rice, beans, cheese, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, salsa and hot sauce is about as good as it gets OTC. As far as QS, I can't think of anything better in the parks.

I love burritos and spicy too! LoL... I just didn't think that was it.

You gotta douse them in hot sauce. Not haute cuisine, but hey, it's Disney
