Updating Other "Lands"

When they complete the "Fantasyland" update, has anyone heard if they will be updating "Tomorrowland", "Frontierland", or "Liberty Square" with new rides or refurbishing old ones?

Tomorrowland has been updated since its original state.

From Wiki:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tomorrowland#Magic_Kingdom

Quote:
For most of its history, Tomorrowland's color scheme was predominantly white with soft blues, creating a retro-modernist landscape. Huge monolithic towers, spires, and clean lines completed the futuristic look. In 1994, using inspiration from Discoveryland at Disneyland Paris, Tomorrowland was completely re-built and altered to resemble a galactic spaceport as it would have been envisioned by the science-fiction comic strips of the early 20th century, like Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers. Tomorrowland has since been given a much more metallic look, along with new darker blues and purples, especially along its main concourse leading from the central hub.

As for the others. Yeah... I can see a bit of an update... heh

The "Grand Prix Gateway" could use an update. My son is all for it changing to look like something from CARS.

I think it will..but knowing how Disney operates they will wait a few years until after the movies are released..that just seems to be how they roll. Monsters Inc, Stitch's Great Escape...Toy Story.

They need to do something different with Stitch. I dont mind that "experience" (not really a ride), but would like to see something else other than what they did.

My daughter really wants Disney to create a ride in Frontierland centered on "Jesse & Bullseye" from Toy Story.

I dunno...I hope the whole thing doesn't become too "movie centric." And as for updating Fantasyland, I think it's being updated because it's always so congested, and Disney knows that that is the best part of the park to compete with Harry Potter. I don't see them necessarily expanding all the different areas.

I guess it's a good question. How much change is too much change? How do you balance the need to keep it fresh for people who say that MK is getting boring, versus those of us who want to visit and see the same things over and over again?

For me I like what they are doing in Fantasy Land with the added area. I think they need to keep all of the rides, unless its really unpopular and add. Its not like they dont have the space to do it. I know its probably more cost effective to build into an old ride, but after some of the articles on here... I do miss a lot of the oldies.

I saw on the Travel channel one of the Disney Park episodes. They were discussing new attractions and one that was coming to the California Adventure Park looked really awesome. It is called "Silly Symphony Swing". Mickey Mouse will conduct a barnyard rochestra during a "twister" as swing riders go airborne.

That would be cool by the new Dumbo Circus area. It looked like so much fun!

I agree completely!
