Uploading a picture from your computer to a post.

Uploading a picture from your computer to a post.

To upload a picture to a post, click on the button below the text box that says "Choose File" or "Browse"

A window will open on your computer and browse to whatever picture you want on your computer and choose it. Click open and it will be attached like below.

You must have some sort of text in the text box, even a simple period. Click on preview to preview before you post it or click save to post.

That's it!

It's interesting mrhub, but my computer doesn't have the choose file button anywhere, and it never has since I joined the forum. All the words on my computer are identical to your screenshot, however I only have a bar, with the paper clip to the left and the word Browse to the right. I don't know much about computers, so I'm not sure why I wouldn't have a choose file button, only a Browse button. But I know my DH keeps our computer updated with all the latest "updates"~I said I didn't know much about computers wink

Sorry Annie, I haven't used IE on here in a while, thats the difference. I updated that for those that still use it.

Weird,but since I downloaded the new Ios8, I no longer can download photos on this site..I can download onto my facebook but when I try to do the same on here.it just doesn't work.. confused

Having the same issue here on the iPad. Have not check it on my Mac book yet though. I will get back to you. I do not like IOS 8!

Same probs on my I Pad..Cheers Mr Hub..I also not a fan of IOS 8 as yet..

iOS8 has been a disaster so far. Especially the fiasco yesterday with 8.0.1 where it locked out the phone functionality and secure ID of the new iPhones. I'll bet some people at Apple will be shown the door over that one.

Makes me doubly greatfull i have managed to stay clear of Apple since they moved on from the old green screen computers ..

Must admit I love the I Pad..Best thing since Mince & Tatties..Hopefully it will get better..Great after service also..My charger broke last year,went to buy one at the Apple shop in Glasgow and the girl gave me one free.. awesome

Good Morning Sir...Friday 26th..Downloaded the new IOS 8.0.2. This morning and successful with downloading a photo on a tattoo thread on the site..Yay..And its the right way up.. awesome

Its much easier uploading directly, its just harder to post pics and type between them, but its possible.
