Oh awesome! Yes, yes that would be a much better evacuation than having repel in open air. However, that only takes into account over water rescue. I have to wonder what the plans are for land areas, maybe something similar? Though I don't know that this will make me any more excited to ride it. We shall see.

Looks like our friends over at AllEars.Net are reporting a major outage for the Skyliner already that included guests being evacuated from the Gondolas. It's only been open for a week! This does not boost my confidence.

I was following this Saturday night and yesterday. I still plan on riding it when it is back up and running.

We were at Epcot the day the system went down. We used the Skyliner to get to Epcot and it shutdown 30 mins later. It was a good ride, easy, well ventilated (was 95 degrees when we rode it), didn't get hot at all. Never heard what caused the shutdown, but the gondolas get so close together at the stations, a collision looks imminent each time you come in.

Totally still going to ride it. We're staying at the Riveria Resort in February and plan on utilizing the Skyliner to the fullest so hopefully they get the kinks worked out.

I rode it twice this past weekend. It was great. There was a nice breeze while we were moving.

I braved the Skyliner! I'm so proud of myself, it was kind of scary at first but by the time I was about half way through my return trip I had decided that it was something I can actually use.

We loved it! And we got a Haunted Mansion themed one to boot. I think it's amazing and am ok with the risks. remind me.I said that when I'm stuck over water in a non-themed one with clear windows and 6 other paseengers in July heat......
