We've Finally Booked!

Hi Guys

I know I'm still very new to this forum, and also that I haven't posted in a LONG time, but I just wanted to share the news with you all that we have FINALLY booked clapping

We're heading out to the Land of the Mouse on the 14th October, and returning on the 4th November - so we luckily get 3 whole weeks Smile

We'll be flying via Washington outbound with United, and via Newark home (although I'm secretly hoping the Newark - Manchester leg will be overbooked so I can get a night in NYC). Never flown with United before, but if its cheap enough and can get me to Orlando then I'm happy.

Details so far..............

Flights x 5
14th Oct MAN - WAS - MCO
4th Nov MCO - EWK - MAN Sad

Accommodation
3 Bed Villa @ Vista Del Lago

Car Hire
2 x Standard with Alamo
Chrysler 200 or Similar

Still to Do

ESTA x 3
Travel Insurance x 3
Park Tickets x 5
Car Parking @ Manchester Airport
Rough Plan
Spends!

We are also going to do a couple of days at a beach - not sure which one yet, but I personally would like to also go on to Seascreamer at Clearwater and also go to the Clearwater Aquarium to see Winter. Myself and my Nephews would also like to go to the Big Cat Rescue - we may do all this separately from the overnight at the beach though.

I think that covers everything - however if I'm wrong or you guys have any suggestions then feel free to let me know.

Eeekk! We're so excited now ha ha

Ooh, and we're obviously going to squeeze in a MNSSHP, and there may be a couple of surprises that I want to arrange for the family too such as the Seaworld Behind The Scenes Penguin Encounter, and the Busch Gardens Safari

How fabulous!!!! I would love to be able to swing that long a trip!!!! But unless Powerball comes through, it isn't in the cards for us.

Your next assignment is to figure out dining. Even though you're staying off site, you'll want to book a few character meals, or dinners in some of the Epcot restaurants.

I know, we've fallen really lucky to get to go for so long.

I'm trying to figure out restaurants and things. The problem I have though, is my family don't like to have a 'plan' as such and will probably only decide the night before what we are doing the next day eek . I think I'm going to go for a 21 day WDW pass though, as I'd like to bob in and out of the parks as much as I can.

I HAVE to go to Be Our Guest - thats a given, and I've told the family so. I guess I'll be the one queuing for a table though, as they're not as bothered.

Its myself, my parents and 2 of my Nephews travelling, they'll be 16 and 20, so whilst they're not particularly bothered about characters, I think they'd appreciate a meal.

We did a Character Meal at the Liberty Tree Tavern during a MNSSHP many years ago with one of them (the other has never been to Disney) and it was fabulous. I'd love to try Crystal Palace, and I want to go to O'Hana, but it all depends on budgets - I may end up doing them alone.

Wow 3 whole weeks in the World! Sounds like a great trip! Be sure to check out the F&WF in Epcot while you're there...it's perfect for grazing and you don't need any set plans to get a good meal!

Thanks for all the good wishes guys. I haven't made it to WDW in about 7 years, and then it was 2 weeks worth of arguments between certain family members who ruined it. To say I'm excited is an understatement.

Everyone who is going gets on really well, and is so excited about it. We're all saving really, really hard too as money is tight everywhere at the minute, so I think it gives us all (especially the Nephews) a much greater sense of it if you get me ?

Right, I'm off to find some trip reports to read Smile
