What do you think of Brown Derby?

I read such mixed reviews on it. There are EMH at HS on one of our nights, so I was thinking of eating there. But then I thought we could eat at the Beach or Yacht Club or even Swan or Dolphin and walk over to HS afterwards...

Anyone care to share about Brown Derby or any other place to eat before a late(r) night at HS? We'd love to go somewhere nicer, since we won't have our kids. Smile

I haven't eaten at the Brown Derby myself, but it's on my bucket list. I think I may stop in for a Grapefruit Cake "to go" when I'm there next month.

We ate there with our kids in April. It's a bustling place. The vibe was upbeat and good for us with 2 kids. We had to wait 20 min with 2 tired hungry kids but once we sat service was good, wine and food was great. I had the Cobb appetizer and steak. I enjoyed both. We would return!

Love it! I've eaten there three times and never had a bad experience. Always started my meal with the cobb salad and ended it with the grapefruit cake. Each entree was different and I was never disappointed.

I reserved it. I really wanted to go back to BOG, but DH said he wants to try something new. I also booked our anniversary dinner at Flying Fish and a breakfast at Crystal Palace - not for characters, but for the early morning MK. mickey I guess the rest of the trip will be a day of F&W booths (so sad we only get one day!), QS, and whatever other TS we manage to walk in for.

Now, to wait for the Cali Grill to open back up! waiting

The Brown Derby is great. We eat there a lot. I love the Grouper. Scrappy gets the filet, and we have had the Cobb salad which is awesome. We never see a whole lot of kids in there, but some now and then. It is pricey. Last time we ate there I gave some Disney Magic and paid for drinks for two couples celebrating their anniversaries with out them knowing. I told the waiter to just say they were paid for with "Pixie Dust" if they asked.
