What Ride Have You Ridden The Most?

Of all the rides in WDW, which have you ridden the most? I'd have to say for me it's actually the Primeval Whirl, because it's fun and easy to get on.

For me, I'd have to say Pirates of the Carribbean because it's been there for as long as I've been going to WDW (it opened in 1973 and my first trip was in 1978 as a 9 year old), and I ride it multiple times on each visit.

I would say Tower of Terror (my most favorite attraction) and Thunder Mountain Railroad.

During one of the private party event at what used to be Disney/MGM Studios, I rode ToT 5 times in a row, and most of it with an elevator full of partially intoxicated men! It was quite an experience, I tell ya! Smile

Were you among the intoxicated?

Spaceship Earth is like PotC, its relaxing and nice and quick to get on, but it's long enough that I don't ride it too many times. I think I've ridden Splash Mountain by far the most. Probably followed by Expedition Everest.

What do you enjoy so much about Autopia, Jim?

I was indulging my cousin Brandon's "need for slow speed". On March 1 and 2, 1998, we must have ridden that thing a dozen times.

Have you ridden PotC at Disneyland? It's much longer, and in my opinion, much better than it's younger counterpart at MK.

When I was younger I went to DL and I did indeed ride PotC. That was ancient history however, so I'm sure they've both been updated considerably. Or am I mistaken? Also as I was reading what I'd written, I find it kind of ludicrous, since I would guess Splash Mountain is at the longer end of rides too...

Well they were both updated in 2006 to add the Jack Sparrow audio animatronics. But before that, I believe they had both been altered to change some scenes that were considered offensive in today's overly politically correct society.

He was 15 at the time.

I once got assigned to a youth hostel room in Dublin full of partially intoxicated men. I sure hope your experience was more fun than mine!! sarcastic laugh

I think the ride I've ridden the most is probably the TTA--it's a favorite and an old standby!

I'm intrigued!

The "Driving A Car" rides seem to be more popular with those too young to drive. As a non-driver do you still find them fun?

Easy answer for me. 'Pirates' and 'Haunted Mansion'. Easy because everytime we make the rounds of the Magic Kingdom, these are usually easy to walk in and get on quickly and we ALWAYS do.

Trip isn't complete without these!!

Haunted Mansion is one of my most favorite rides, and the usually short waits are always a bonus! But Soarin' is quickly becoming the ride I have to do over and over and over! I can't count how many times I've done it over the years!

The wait for Soarin' usually deters me from riding it too many times.

Soarin's a great ride. Have you ridden the Disneyland version?

I have two:

First would be Pirates and second would be the Haunted Mansion. But, I do ride the Tower of Terror a great deal as well so I guess that would make three ha! ha!

Tower of Terror is great because the line is usually not too bad and it's very re-ridable. Some other rides like Expedition Everest I can only take a few times before it starts to have some unfavorable effects on me.

Tomorrowland Transit Authority. Sometimes at night when we get to the station well say "Again!!!" and just keep going round.

Brilliant example of public transportation. Makes me think of what Walts real intention for this ride was...

Oh heavens yes! I can only take EE twice before I have to sit down for a bit. The whole "going backwards in the dark" thing just doesn't sit well with me. Strange, because I'm usually a champ on the tummy twisting rides, but this one does a number. I must be getting old! laugh
