Where To Eat Breakfast at Disney's Hollywood Studios

Is it just me, or is there nowhere for breakfast at DHS? I plan on being there at opening one day, and wanted to sit down and review a meal there, but the only place I see to eat a table service breakfast looks like it's Hollywood & Vine. I can really do without the Disney Jr. crowd on this trip, I was hoping for something a little nicer.

I thought that perhaps I could try Trattoria al Forrno, but the buses won't get me there early enough to make it through DHS as fast as I want to, and I have to hit three parks on that day. I can't take a cab because I'll have an ECV. There's nowhere I see that has table service breakfast at Disney Springs, or Saratoga Springs, so I may just be SOL.

Where do you eat breakfast at Hollywood Studios? Or better yet - where do you want to see me write about having breakfast at Hollywood Studios?

The Writers Stop has rolls and coffee - would just be a quickie breakfast for you. Is a carrot cake cookie considered breakfast?!?!

Hopefully Sci Fi diner will keep serving breakfast after their initial "test run" is over January 23.

We were just at HS yesterday and DH and I had a very delicious cupcake breakfast from Starring Rolls. Red Velvet for him and I had a Chocolate Peanut butter cupcake. Both were awesome!

I so wish that I could just go eat a carrot cake cookie, or a cupcake, but alas - if I ate that first thing in the morning it would take me out for the rest of the day. yuck

I saw that they were doing that test run and I was all excited until I saw the end date. I'll keep my fingers crossed. Right now I'm feeling like a breakfast sandwich at Starbucks is my only choice. Does Starring Rolls have non-sweet stuff out first thing in the morning?

When we were there in September, I had a bagel with cream cheese in the morning and I'm sure there were others items available.

I think you have to eat 2 carrot cake cookies for them to be officially considered breakfast laugh

I can't think of a good breakfast spot at DHS or near SSR. Although, if you're in Congress Park, Earl of Sandwich opens at 8:00 I believe and they serve the full menu all day. My favorite breakfast? Holiday Turkey.

There really is no where. Most of the days we head to DHS in the morning, we eat at the resort first. With celiac it is especially difficult since I can't just go and get a bagel....oh but I wish I could! laugh

That might be a possibility! If they open at 8 I should be able to grab a sandwich, and be on the bus by 8:30 which should put me to the park right at 9. That's totally doable.

I usually do Starring Rolls at DHS for breakfast but I'm crossing my fingers for you that Sci Fi will keep running their breakfast option. crossfingers

I was considering maybe getting something late night at Disney Springs and sticking it in the fridge for morning. Maybe some sushi and eggrolls from Morimoto's walk up, or a sandwich from the Earl. Actually, doing it that way could let me get an extra 1/2 hour of sleep on a trip where it will be in short supply. If SSR had room service I would go that route, but it seems to be lacking in that department as well.

Starring Rolls has bagels, muffins and some other stuff as well. Trolley Car Cafe is an excellent choice with very little wait first thing in the morning.

Starring Rolls get's my vote. We've had a couple of breakfasts there, the only thing we usually struggle with is getting a table! Muffins, pastries, croissants, bagels, fruit, plenty to choose from!
