i like to get my first burger at cosmic ray's and sit and listen to the music, nothing real special about it, just our family thing. plus it is never as crowded as pecos bill's

Hmmm, that is a tough one. I'm not sure if I really get a lot of burgers while there. Pecos Bill does have a great one because of the toppings but I usually get a taco salad.
I do remember having a really good one at Big River Grille and Brewing Works on the Boardwalk.

Cosmic Ray's or Pecos Bill's. Honestly I've eaten at CR more than PB but enjoyed the topping bar at PB

Haven't had too many Disney burgers. We like Pecos Bill a lot, but had a good burger at our resort last time - at CBR.
Of course that Picnic Burger Joe had at HS sure looked good. . .

Hrmmm, just a few answers to this one! Sounds to me like Disney needs to create a really top notch burger restaurant. Maybe something with fresh local beef, buns made daily and home cut fries! MMmmmm... now I'm hungry.

I would have to divide the burger places into two catergories, fast food and then table service. In all honesty, all of the fast food burgers in Disney taste pretty much the same especially so in the parks. So far for fast food burgers I would go with Pollo Camparo as the best. As far as table service, I like Plaza Restaurant and the Captains Grill. I have yet to try Kona or the Turf Club for a burger but both are on my list to try.

mmm burgers! I made some for dinner tonight! I don't remember getting too many, if any, burgers in WDW. However, Kristen your comment about a speciality burger place made me think of a burger restaurant I went to in Vegas. It's in the Paris Hotel and Resort and OMG, the burgers were amazing. Tons of different beefs/meats to choose from. Like 15 different kinds of fresh baked buns and toppings galore. The place was incredible. That is what Disney needs!

For a fast food burger, they're pretty good. However... I HATE their cheese with a passion, it's so boring. I actually end up ordering a hot dog with bacon and grilled onions most of the time I go.

The best fast food burger and fries. I especially love the Cajun fries and the variety of toppings you can get for your burger. But I've had better burgers at table-service restaurants.

Oh I've had had better burgers at table service restaurants too! I was just talking for a counter service place, thats all 5 Guys is.
Pollo Camparo does have a really, really good burger! I never would have expected that either. You can even add more fixins at the fixin bar there too!
