Which restaurant?

We are only going to be in Orlando for 3 nights. 2 of them will be in the parks.

I am struggling to decide where to eat on night 3. I want it to be on Disney property, nothing that is too fussy & expensive (Victoria & Alberts)

We will have just had 3 days on the coast, so we will hopefully had good fish/seafood.

Previously been to Ohanas, Crystal Palace and Whispering Canyon.

Suggestions please Smile

Would you recommend going here while it is still light outside?

Well first off, V & A is a class all it own, so you can not compare it with any of the other restaurants on Disney property.

Secondly, what kind of tastes do you like? Sanna is an excellent restaurant , but some people are put off by some of the heavy flavors there. California Grill is excellent as well as The Yachtsman Steakhouse, Flying Fish (don't think just seafood, it's not), The Turf Club, and there is also Jiko. Fultons in DTD has raised its standards as well since it's first bout with the Dining Plan. I still don't think it is as good as it was before the Dining Plan, but we had an excellent meal there in May. The only thing that might put you off on that is all the construction in DTD.

I love the Garden Grill at Epcot. It's a character meal though so not sure if you're into that or not.

We like Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge.

If you want to eat in the park since you are only there three days, that makes it easier since it limits the selection: Le Cellier, Teppan Edo, and DH loves Morocco. MK is abit more limited for us as the Liberty Tree Tavern is the only one we really look at. Disney Studios has more; we love Mama Melrose, 50's Primetime, and DH likes Sci Fi. Animal Kingdom is where we Loooooovvvveeee Yak and Yeti.

Out of the park, we love Bomas (each trip for us), and we are are hearing some of the ones listed above are also quite good.

We won't be in the park that day.

We love spicy food. I am really liking the menus at Sanna and Boma. Husband hasn't been to AK Lodge so that would be good. Is there a nice bar there to have a pre dinner drink?

Sanna is in Kidani Village, not the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Sanna does have a nice bar though.

We find it hard getting good spicy food in the US eek

I want to try and get an ADR for Tusker House as it sounds interesting.

As part of my eat & drink around the world, Spice Road Table is a must for me. (That is if it is still open- apparently it is very quiet). I appreciate that the flavours here are not hot spicy. We've been to Morrocco so will want to see if it is authentic.

Sounds as if you're leaning toward one of the Animal Kingdom Lodge restaurants...if you end up choosing Boma over Sanaa, there is a very nice bar on a balcony overlooking the restaurant. But if you do get an ADR at Tusker House, skip Boma and go for Sanaa. Tusker House's menu is somewhat similar to Boma's, although Boma has a better variety of dishes.

Agree..On our vacation in Los Angeles, we went out to a Indian restaurant and I ordered the Acharie which back home is hot, but it was like a medium curry..However, Glasgow is famed for it's curry houses, and I once ordered the Chicken Xacuti eek Never again..It has the Bhut Jolaka chilli minced in the sauce..My eyes began to water after 5 mins, then I began to loose my voice, followed by hallucinations, and eventually had to be escorted out of the restaurant by the staff..It was night I'll never forget..I'd recommend this dish to anyone who says the hotter and spicer the better...LOL..
