I will be at Disneyland on June 3 for the re-launching of Star Tours and the opening of the Little Mermaid ride.

DD, do you have another WDW trip planned anytime soon? Can't remember if you do. Have you been out this way for Halloween or Christmas? If so, which do you prefer for these times - DLR or WDW? (Love the pics that I've seen of HM at DLR during Halloween.)

I've never been to WDW at Christmas. As the store manager of a Disney Store we are
blocked from taking vacation days after 10/31. I've been there for halloween and WDW
does make it a much bigger deal than DL does. Although DL has been working on it! each
year is better than the last.
I'm hoping one year I can plan like 3 or 4 days off or so for a quick jaunt to WDW before
christmastime is over!

waaahhh I want to go sooo bad!!! hopefully I can make it work one of these years. On the Backstage Magic tour, they talked about a CHRISTMASTIME Backstage tour.. which I very much want to take!! They said there is a whole crew of several hundred people whose entire job/career revolves around Christmas. EVERY day of the year they are working on Christmas for WDW. Taking care of the decorations, creating new ones, getting them ready for stage. How cool is that??
Also they said they plan the decorations and themes about 3 years before they go up! so 2011's were being planned/created in 2008! crazy!!
