Why DFTW blows me away...

One of the things my dear fiance and I are really looking forward to during our reception is our first dance together. We dance West Coast Swing socially (just for fun, in other words) once or twice a week and have started taking lessons to polish up for our wedding dance. I realized we really needed to know the actual size of the dance floor for our reception venue, so I dashed off a quick note to our planner thinking I wouldn't get a response till Monday or Tuesday. 20 minutes later (on a Sunday afternoon!) I had my answer. It's such a small thing but wow our planner is amazing! muchlove

Whoo hoo! And how big is the dance floor? Is the reception going to be in that room with the patio that the monorail goes by?

The Whitehall Room? Yes ma'am! We'll have the room for dancing, eating and buffet and the patio for cocktails, hanging out and general schmoozefest. Not a HUGE dance floor (about 12 by 12 according to Pamela) but big enough. I keep telling myself that we're not going to be dancing in a box and banging off the walls.

Pictures here!

That room is lovely, especially the patio area!
