Wine Walk in Epcot?

Has anyone ever heard of this? You pay $20 and get two, 2-oz glasses of wine in France, Italy, and Germany.

Anyone know where/how/when?

No kidding! And this would be great to know about becuase you can have your own little mini-Food-and-Wine-Fest no matter when you go.

Just wanted to give a little update on this -- I've heard from more folks that it DOES exist. I'm still not sure where you sign up for it, but I think Epcot guest relations should have more info. If anyone has any ideas, let us know.

Hey guys, just found this posted about the Wine Walk! Looks like a great deal. Wish I'd known more about it before we went, but we'll definitely be doing it on the next trip:

Definetely need to check this out next time I go to Epcot.

Is this only good during Food & wine, or all year?

Found a few pieces of good information via the link above:

"The wine is offered year-round. I discovered it while we were waiting
for our table in Biergarten. We were in the Wienkeller and I saw two
women getting their passport stamped and receiving their samples. What
impressed me is that the cup is about the same size of a wine glass, so
it is a great deal!"

and

"One great thing about the wine walk is that you don't need to drink all
of the wines in one day or even one trip. I started the wine walk in
August and will be finishing it off when we're there the first week of
November. The CM said I just had to bring my receipt along with the
passport."

Thanks SA!! Great news.

LIFL -- That's very cool that you can do half the walk on one trip and finish it off on the next!

Great to know Brad because otherwise I'd be stumbling back to my hotel and would definetely have to stay at BWV or BCV on that trip.

This is why I'll only go to Jellyrolls when I stay at an Epcot resort!

I was just recently hearing about good South African wines (although they might be wasted on my lame tongue). Do you remember the name?

I've been to Sanaa twice. The food is interesting. eek

Actually I like it but it is very different than what we Americans are used to.

We had all the samplers.
We ordered the bread sampler.
Then an appetizer sampler and a meat sampler.
It was a great way to try a little of everything.
Sanaa is pretty pricey.
We ended up spending about $40 a person for lunch but the view makes it worthwhile.

There were so many flavorful things all in one place.
Unfortunately I didn't try the wine.
We had Kenyan beer instead which was pretty decent.

The view seems great -- you just have to make sure to go during lunch I hear!

I've read some posts, but the view seems really interesting. Do all the tables have pretty good views?

It is called Sebeka, it is a Cabernet Pinotage.

My favorites are whites -- I wonder if they have any famous white wine vintages....
