Wishes or Illuminations?

Just trying to make some decisions, here. Which do you prefer watching?

We've found ourselves in this bind a couple of times, and we always end up going to Wishes. It's a classic and not to be missed.

In my case, it is not even close - Illuminations. It is my most favorite fireworks show at WDW.

I have to go with Wishes. I love everything about it; the fairy tale theme, the voices of characters from the classic animated films, and the message that Wishes do really do come true.

Illuminations for me. Not even close.

Illuminations is never going to match up unless they can move it to the Magic Kingdom!

Oh, I hope not! It will be so much out of place there in terms of theming. The spirit of international brotherhood and people from different nationalities and cultures coming together in harmony just doesn't work at the Magic Kingdom. The World Showcase lagoon is the only place in WDW where this firework fits in perfectly.

I enjoy both, but I think Illuminations is a really impressive show with bigger themes. The epic nature of it tends to affect me more than the more cartoony nature of Wishes.

Wow! I had no idea this was such a bone of contention. I like both so much, but they really do offer different types of entertainment.

Thanks for your feedback everyone. Would love more if you have it!

Yes, I'm joining the Illuminations crew in our bunker and we're ready to go at it with these crazy Wishes folks!
