Good morning, LOL at least my power is back on. The skies should be clearing and it looks like I'll get out around my lake when the sun is out. I may have to bundle up but who cares at least I'll be getting out. So far today I've done Leslie Sansone's 5 really big miles and day 13 of the 30 day plank challenge. I picked up Rodney Yee's Daily Yoga library on Friday so today will be day 3 core along with my afternoon meditation. This week I'll be cooking and eating lots of celery, sweet potatoes, beets, parsnips, carrots and apples as I cornered the market on them at my farmer's market. Breakfast will be a mean green cleansing smoothie (kale, cucumber, celery, ginger, garlic and lime for a bit of a change) lunch is going to be a salad with spinach, celery, yellow squash and whatever else looks good in the fridge and dinner will be ratatouille and some beans. I hope all of you have a most magical day and keep moving forward.

Glad you power is back Figs! Stay warm! We woke to a super thunderstorm this am. WOW! It rocked me right out of meditation. I decided to pop in a Seane Corne DVD and enjoyed it. It did however leave me a little wanting so I followed up with a few (or several) astanga style sun salutations.

I drank breakfast today...kale and beets. Very Tasty. Lunch is bean soup and dinner will be quineoa stuffed peppers.

Mittens, was that SNOW!? I yearn for the first snow fall but please let it happen after my flight to MCO! Need to be on that cruise for Thanksgiving.

Keep moving everyone!
Be yourself always, BE FABULOUS!

It's about 2 1/2 miles around the whole thing with mostly wooded pathways around it.

Good morning and BRRRRRRRRRRRRRR OMG it's cold I can't believe it's below freezing when I woke up yesterday it was near 60. I may have to rethink my alarm clock radio station as If You Like Pina Coladas was playing. sarcastic Can't get that darn song out of my head yuck . So now for breakfast I'm going to have one Frozen pineapple, spinach, coconut water and a bit of coconut and rum extract. Hey what do you want it's 5 o'clock somewhere. Lunch will be my usual salad and dinner will be roasted veggies, onions, brussel sprouts, carrots, parsnips, beets, sweet potatoes and asparagus that and "cream of mushroom soup" with some baked tofu. 5 miles and day 14 of the plank challenge done and looking forward to day 4 of RY's practice it's supposed to detox me so I'm thinking lots of twisting. Have a magical day and keep moving forward.

Good Morning Loves!
Oh what a beautiful morning! Cold but beautiful! 20 minutes of kindness meditation this morning and 70 of a hatha/ashtanga mix. I sweat in places I didn't know existed this morning. I feel really great, detoxed. Breakfast is asparagus soup ( I really love soup for breakfast) Lunch is left over stuffed peppers and dinner all depends on what the dentist does this afternoon!
Keep moving, keep smiling!

PS. Watched a wonderful inspirational film last night! Finding Joe ! Check it out. If you want to know more about "who" it's about google Joe Campbell! Amazing!

Just took a look at this thread since we train for our Disney trips by walking as much as we can. I am lucky I work with infants and get to push a six seat stroller two hours a day weather permitting. I am afraid though once the snow falls and gets deep our walks will not quite be everyday. However, I do have a YMCA membership and will continue my walking there.
I just want to say thank-you for all the inspiring thoughts each of you have written.

Good morning all!! Figgy, stop sending that cold weather down here! LOL
It is cool but sunny. It felt like Spring yesterday!
Got my 4 mile walk in. May have to bundle up more today to walk.
Got all my good veggies yesterday at the store!! Lunch is half turkey and hummus sandwich, carrots, and a banana. Dinner is orzo salad with chicken meatballs and sliced peaches. Yummy! I pretty much have changed over to Cooking Light recipes and Dr. Oz. They are lighter, yummy, and portion controlled.
Everyone have a safe and warm day! You all have warm hearts even if you get cold!! muchlove
