You Can't Do Simple Math, So I'm Not Marrying You!

And it isn't April 1st either. You can't make up something like this:

An Indian bride walked out of her wedding ceremony after the groom failed to solve a simple math problem, police said Friday.

The bride tested the groom on his math skills and when he got the sum wrong, she walked out.

The question she asked: How much is 15 plus six?

His reply: 17.

She had standards! Smile

But that's not all in that news report. This one was even a bigger eye-opener!

Last month, another bride in Uttar Pradesh married a wedding guest after the original groom had a seizure and collapsed at the wedding venue.

The groom's family had not revealed that the groom was epileptic. While the groom was rushed to a hospital in Rampur town, the bride asked one of the wedding guests to step in and married him.

Gives us all another way to look at the role of "Best Man" at a wedding, doesn't it?

I'd say to all you single men and women on here, you should have a similar question to your potential suitors. Something along the line of : "What is the significance of the Sorcerer's name "Yensid" in "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" from "Fantasia"?"

If he/she can't answer it, you should dump him/her!

It may seem hilarious but the truth is, a lot of Asian parents value greatly if their spouse of their children is educated, rich and handsome. And also consider that most Indian marriages are arranged so there's not really a luxury of getting to know the person so to speak. But I don't blame the wife. Miscalculating money like bills, groceries, taxes can have severe consequences....

"All my life I wonder how it feels to pass a day, not above them but part of them.

And out there living in the sun, give me one day out there, all I ask is one to hold forever. Out there where they all live unaware, what I'd give, what I'd dare, just to live one day out there."
