Your Favourite Disney Freebie...

I do confess I take home the room resort soap and shampoo in my case to cure my disney depression...However my favourite this year is the Joffrey's coffee pods..I don't have the machine at home but I use a tea strainer and slowly pass the boiling water over the coffee bag into my cup..The minute I open the bag from the satchel and smell the aroma..Iam back at Disney..Have you got a favourite disney freebie.?..

When my kids were young, a freebie for us (when we no longer had park entrance tickets) was to ride the Monorail, ride the different water ferry (boats (back & forth)), & just visit the deluxe resorts or Downtown Disney. It kept us within WDW and all the magic mickey .

Cheers

My favorite are the drawings from the Animation Academy. Though I do like the little shampoo bottles, too. I take our own shampoo to use while we're on vacation and bring the little bottles home. They're the perfect size to take along to the gym and there's no better incentive for working out than to get to wash your hair with Mickey shampoo afterwards! laugh

I like the free celebration buttons. I think they are a nice way to personalize your Disney experience. It made me light up when we wore our Happily Ever After buttons on our honeymoon and all of the Cast Members kept congratulating us!

Seems boring but I love the park maps and any other paper swag I can get my hands on. It all ends up in my scrapbooks

I always come home with a collection of shampoo & soaps, as well as tucking a small towel animal into my bag. I have a mouse and a butterfly from Disney sitting in my bathroom.

I, too, love using the small shampoo and conds. later on. I give extras to my DD to use especially when she doesn't get to go with us.

I read on a forum or maybe Pinterest that people keep the soaps and buy little gift bags and make up sets for friends. I did this this time along with a key ring and a lollipop each, my friends loved it!

I have been known to take glasses from restaurants, however due to not having much space I settled just for the soaps.

WM - I would have loved the coffee but thought you needed the machine! Thanks for the tip.

I love that light-up Mickey shaped USB drive they sent me a couple of years ago. I use it all the time.

I got several of them, they are pretty neat, wish they didn't stop giving them out. There are actually different size ones too. There were 1 gig, 2gig & 4 gig.

We also take the extra bath gel's and shampoo's and if you get a really good Mousekeeper, they will load you up with extras.

I have taken some napkins home for my bar at times, the menu's from restaurants that are just on paper you can usually keep or the personalized menu's. Just ask your server, they usually let you keep a menu.

A towel animal or two or four or eight........................................

I don't have a favorite WDW freebie.

My favorite vacation freebie was a cat. We found her begging food on the pool deck at a resort in Myrtle Beach. The resort staff said she'd been there several weeks, so we took her home. Here she is, on the pool deck.

That's a good question. Before the Magic Bands, I always kept my Key to the World card from all three of my past trips. I mean, I couldn't think of any other hotel or resort that would allow me to keep my own room key. Now that the MagicBands are here, I like to think that my cards are even more valuable than I thought!

We have saved our soaps but the thing we are now the most excited about are the customized maps. Really impressive and perfect for those of us that will hang our disney stuff on the walls.

I used to be able to run into Schaumburg to the Doorway to Dreams Store and pick one of those up each year. I'm so sad that they're closed now.

Crazycatperson I love your freebie the best! What a cutie. As for my favorite freebie it would be the hand lotion which is probably included in the room price. Last year I told mouse keeping how much I loved it and she left me extra bottles every day!

Favorite freebie to take home is a tie between the celebration buttons and the soaps and such. I didn't know you could take the towel animals! We've never gotten one, other than the standard mickey when you first check in. Maybe this will be the trip. crossfingers

Overall, my favorite freebie is the transportation. Driving in unfamiliar areas is probably the biggest source of stress for DH and myself when we're on vacations. Disney takes all of that away from the time you check your luggage at the airport. That, and you never have to worry about who is going to be the DD....just stand (or maybe sway depending on how much you've indulged) in line and they've got a bus, boat, or monorail at your service. awesome
