Wow! That is a terrific angle of the castle! Nice shot.

That's cool how you can see through the globe. Or is that just a trick of the light?

Nope--you can actually see through it. There are sections that are cut out around the continents.

Great photo. You rarely see pics of Illuminations from that side of the lagoon. EVeryone's always over on the other side.

It's interesting that in the Epcot shot I didn't even notice the people. Much like that earlier one by ZapperZ for Fantasyland where you don't notice the kid:

That's such a cool photo. Nobody ever goes back there at night. And I like how the water's color matches the accent paint on the wall behind cinderella

Here's a picture that I wish we could all not notice the person in it. Brad has seen this one already. It would have been absolutely perfect had this guy not walked in in the middle of the show and stood almost right in front of me.

Needless to say, I wasn't a happy camper when I saw this picture afterwards.

I was tempted to go try and fix it with photoshop! Just need a similar castle picture.

I bet ZapperZ has a lot of shots by that. We could do a "awesome shots ruined" thread.

That would actually be a really funny idea!

Oh, Zapperz!!! That's just horrible! Maybe you can sell it as an "MC Escher" type thing (with the same picture on the viewfinder of the camera...no? oh well!)

I like the idea of the "best ruined photos" thread! I'm sure we've all got a TON of those.

It's interesting because the light strands at the bottom really add to the picture. It makes you think he's in your back yard looking over the fence or something to say hi! Great photo.

Here's one of my favorites from AK. Not exactly artistic, but another one of those elements that most people just walk right on by.

There are so many cool little waterfalls and streams in AKL. You really can just walk around that park without riding a ride and have a great time.

Every time I see one of these guys with the big eyes and goofy smile, I just smile regardless of my mood. I think I may put pics like that all over my office to keep my mood elevated. biggrin

That is what I like most about photos. The little things that you notice that most people don't. I really think that is a big part of what makes an beautiful photo! AK is such an amazing place to take pictures, there is just so much to see!

BTW, I love that photo! muchlove

I have a few photos from our last trip that I'm really proud of. As Bali said about her picture, they may not be "artistic", but to us they came out as beautiful reminders of our trip!

I hope you guys can enjoy them as well!

This was our very first ride on our trip, on a very crowded day! I just love the look of the lamp against the wispy clouds!

Views of the savannah at AKL from the elevated walkway in the lobby...I will never tire of this view!

Jafar's profile on the Maharaja Jungle Trek. I think the highlight was people stopping to stare, trying to figure out what we were taking pics of!!! Lol, we overheard people saying "what are we looking at?"

I think this is my favorite photo from our trip. It was our first morning, we had coffee and english muffins on our deck at SSR and watched the sunrise over the LBV Golf Course and the main buildings at SSR. This view is through the cutout on the side of our deck...priceless!
