Your Must Do Things At WDW On Every Vacation..

You know I'm really surprised..Nay...Gobsmacked when I read answers on a recent thread of mine concerning things on your " Must Do " list...Some people have never seen " Festival of the Lion King " ...Or even " Fantasmic " ...And also never done " Haunted Mansion " ... eek ...Now I'm talking people who having been going for many years..Not a first timer ( I could excuse that ) .....So I'm now as curious as ever...What are your top ten, yes 10, must see or do things on every trip...I'll write my top ten down later as I've got a funeral to attend this afternoon...

Here is 10, in no particular order.
1- MK is always the first park
2- BTMR at night.
3-Hang out on the porch, while the kids explore Tom Sawyer Island.
4-Ride HM, and then go to Bear Country Jamboree. (This has been a tradition since my first visit to DL at age6.)
5-Eat upstairs at Columbia Harbour House.
6-Ice cream at 11.
7-End up having dinner around 9 one night at Pecos Bill.
8-catch a breeze on the people mover.
9- POTC
10- Tiki Room.

Apparently, this is just the MK addition!

No, only because someday when we all win the lottery and are bajillionaires you won't have to cry because you could just set up permanent residency at the resorts. laugh

No particular order: Haunted Mansion, Toy Story Mania, Splash Mountain, POTC (It'll be closed this time!!!), Pecos Bill, People Mover, Soarin, Star Tours, Find the perfect ornament, Wishes at least once.

I would have added the Back Lot tour onto the list but no more. sad

Take a pic of the castle while walking up Main Street (both)

Buzz light year ranger spin (both)
Train around the park (both although it was down for refurb on my WDW trip)
Small world (both)
Ham and cheese pretzel (Paris studios park) or soft pretzel from WDW
Tower of terror (both parks)
Wishes/ dreams (fireworks)
Pin trading (anywhere and everywhere!)

I don't think i could list a top ten must do as it would change every trip. There is nothing that would make my trip less magical by not being able to ride/eat it.There were some firm favourites in previous years that were not done this trip and some new ones.So i can only put 1 thing on my list,

1. Enjoy every day spent there !

Totally spot on..Our last years trip included " Fantasmic " as we hadn't done it the previous trip, but missed out on old Indy as we had done it in 2012..But a friend of ours went in 2012 for two weeks with his wife and three children..They walked past POTC several times thinking it was just a show..Whit! eek ...Talk about not planning or doing research ..Makes me mad.. gaah
