I'll heartily add the Strawberry Shortcake at Sunshine Seasons to the list! It's especially a great snack stop if you're at Soarin'!

At HS it's red velvet cupcakes at starring roles. At AK it's a jalapeno cheese stuffed pretzel. At MK it's a nutella waffle from Sleepy hollow. But at Epcot we have several. At Les Halles Boulangerie & Patisserie we LOVE the caramel cream and chocolate mousse tart. I always get a traditional pretzel in Germany. The egg rolls at the Lotus Blossom cafe in China are awesome. And a trip wouldn't be complete without some school bread from Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in Norway.

One of my favorites is probably pretty tame, but it's the Mickey pretzels! I don't get to eat them...ever, so they're a HUGE treat for me when we go. I love love love soft pretzels, but never eat them anymore. I was always told that they are really bad for you, all full of carbs and what not. But, on vacation, anything goes! Hehe, I had the best time dipping it in the cheese! Smile

We also started a new tradition of buying the iced cookies. It started at Disneyland and carried over to the World. We both pick one out and share them, usually as a snack while we wait for a show. mickey mickey

I still have 180+ days left! AND on a diet!

Okay, we love Dole Whip. DH gets it as a float with pineapple juice. He also charges ahead to Canada to get the roasted almonds (I do have the recipes for both of these treats, but he says it's the atmosphere that makes them better.)

I mentioned earlier I love the grapefruit cake (again I have the recipe but this way I only eat one slice).

We also noticed that when we were wearing badges (anniversary, etc) people kept giving us cookies. This is a tradition that my DH would like to see continued sooooo, he would wear a badge for Gopher Day if he thought it would get him a cookie.
LOL I am not a cookie fan,not even the magic ones, so he can pig out all he wants or leave them for the King to ship.

Raspberry White Chocolate Chip cookies from Main St Bakery (and other locations)are magical. They magically appear in my carry-on bag going home every time.

Although it may not be considered a snack, Pork Nachos at Captain Cooks is a wonderful afternoon snack for us. Aside from Funnel Cakes, I really need to give honorable mention to the Nutella and fruit waffle at Sleepy Hollow muchlove

In general, one of my favorite snacks is donuts. I can find them all over the city where I live but rarely see any in Disney World. I've enjoyed the cinnamon rolls, coffee cakes, cupcakes and other baked goods I've had but does anyone know of a place to find good donuts in the World?

For someone who likes churros and doughtnuts in general, the cronut is really hard to turn down with everything Epcot has to offer.

After trying it once, the Maple Cinnamon Rolls at Gaston's Tavern have shot near to the top of my list. Also, not sure if this is a snack, but an Ice Cream Martini from L'Artisan des Glaces sounds real good right about now.

We watched them make one yesterday, so cool and it looks DELISH! We had already ordered, the people in front of us got one and we watched them make it, yum! Gotta get one next time. I love that ice cream shop, I want to try the whipped vodka over ice cream, since I love the rum over Dole Whip so much!

The Cronut is from the Refreshment Port, just before you head to the Canada Pavilion and just after entering the World Showcase.

Hello Deedee45 and welcome to WDWForGrownups!

Dole Whip to some is pure heaven. Here is part of Wikipedia's definition.:

Dole Whip is a soft serve pineapple-flavored frozen dessert, available most notably in Disneyland at Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room originally, and later in Walt Disney World (at Aloha Isle in the Magic Kingdom, and Captain Cook's at the Polynesian Resort), as well as at the Dole Plantation and Unified Enterprises Corp. in Hawaii. It is also available at Noah's Ark in WI Dells and Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster PA. Dole Whip is Vegan, Cholesterol Free, Fat Free, Gluten Free, and Lactose Free.

Please go over to the "Introduce yourself" thread and tell us a little about yourself!

My question is.....what is a Dole Whip?

Hi DeeDee45, I just had my first dole whip a few weeks ago and my husband and I both thought it tasted EXACTLY like pineapple sherbert. Our grocery stores sell small containers of orange, lime and pineapple sherbert all together in the same container and it tastes identical to that pineapple sherbert. It was ok, but neither of us finished it and we won't be getting it again. But MANY people think a dole whip is the best thing they've ever tasted! It's all a matter of taste and I'd recommend that everyone tries it at least once.
