Bob Chapeck, Chairman of Disney Parks and Resorts, announced new additions coming to the Magic Kingdom in time for the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary celebration. One of the surprises of the day was a brand new theater coming to the Main Street U.S.A.

At the D23 Expo on Friday afternoon, John Lasseter, chief creative officer of Pixar and Walt Disney Animation Studios announced details and shared footage for the upcoming slate of animated films. The films include Coco, Wreck-it-Ralph 2, Frozen 2, Toy Story 4, and more.

The 2017 class of Disney Legends was honored this morning at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, California. The ceremony was hosted by Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Disney Legends Award. The first recipient was Fred MacMurray in 1987.

On August 19, guests at the Walt Disney World Resort will have a chance to celebrate the second Disney PhotoPass Day. The event is a celebration of all things Disney PhotoPass and promises to be bigger than last year's inaugural event.
