As Star Wars fans get closer and closer to the opening weekend of Star Wars Days at Disney's Hollywood Studios (we talked about all the previous information on Star Wars Weekends here), Disney has announced another option for everyone planning to attend this extended event. Disney has created a VIP tour package ( being called The Ultimate Day at Star Wars Weekends) for everyone attending Star Wars Weekend this year.

Today, I'd like to share with you how to navigate a typical runDisney Expo. The expos on each coast have some differences (location, order of pickup, placement of booths) but the process is very similar. When I went to my first runDisney Expo, I was in a great big hurry and the organization of the event made things go very smoothly! Every expo I've been to since has been exactly what you would expect from runDisney: organized, energetic, full of smiling volunteers.

The Easter Bunny has arrived at the Magic Kingdom.

Mr. Bunny will be meeting and greeting guests in Town Square through April 20. He'll also make a pre-parade special appearance on April 19 and 20 with other spring characters and the Azalea Trail Maids.

And while meeting the Easter Bunny is "egg-citing," there are more events happening around the Walt Disney World Resort.

The last bit of the New Fantasyland is still under construction at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom, but each day fans get a little closer to getting to ride on the "Seven Dwarfs Mine Train." The opening date is set for "later this Spring" but when exactly we still don't know. Walls have been down and a there were even some test riders recently. The rock-work is getting its finishing touches and the top of the mountain planted.

Several signature events at the Walt Disney World Resort have a new sponsor.

Transitions Optical Inc. recently signed an agreement with the Walt Disney World Resort to become a sponsor of several events including the runDisney series, the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, and the Festival of the Masters in Downtown Disney.

The company will also be sponsoring the Atlanta Braves spring training at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

Epcot's China Pavilion is one of the more beautiful locations around World Showcase, and it's also a hidden gem when it comes to great shopping.

When visiting the pavilion, we always stop and take time to explore the garden. The lotus pond in front of the temple is stocked with floating water lilies and other plants and fruit trees, and also features a small waterfall. The area was designed to create a mood of serenity and if you stand there long enough you might feel a sense of calm wash over you.

Sports fans will have a new place to shop when The Marketplace Co-Op at Downtown Disney opens this summer.

The Trophy Room is one of the six boutiques inside the Co-Op and the store's merchandise includes sports apparel and other items.

Adding to the overall sports theme, the decor in the boutique will feature wall fixtures that look like re-purposed trophy cases, accented by dark stone and metal fixtures. The walls will also feature Trophy Room logo banners.

A group of Disney VoluntEARS recently helped build a new playground that provides a safe place to play for the kids of Oakland, Florida.

The VoluntEARS worked with a KaBOOM! construction crew and representatives from the town of Oakland to place 48,600 square feet of safety surfacing and assemble new playground equipment. In all more than 200 volunteers took part in the project.
