Details Emerge On New Pixar Short "La Luna"

Fans of Pixar short films have had some pleasant surprises recently as details regarding the newest short "La Luna" have emerged. Earlier this month, Pixar released a synopsis and a still photo from the short, and this week saw even more bits of information about the film surface.

Reportedly attached to the full-length film "Brave," "La Luna" tells the story of a young boy who goes to work for the first time with his father and grandfather. The way the trio commutes to work is a bit unconventional as they row out to sea in an old wooden boat, and the work itself is a mystery.

Hollywood Studios Character Meet-and-Greets Delayed

Last month, we told you about new character meet-and-greets coming to Hollywood Studios. We've recently learned a couple of those character greeting opportunities have been pushed back.

First, Phineas and Ferb were originally planned to make the jaunt to Hollywood Studios in mid-May. Due to some confusion about the duo's school schedule (they won't be finished until the end of May), their movie-themed greeting experience will be delayed a few more weeks.

World of Disney Summer Sale for Passholders

Are you a Walt Disney World passholder? Then get ready for a summer, Disney version of Black Friday. The World of Disney Store, located in the Downtown Disney area, is holding a large sale June 23. Sale-goers can expect reductions of up to seventy-five percent off select merchadise at the store.

Those passholders interested in attending the sale will need to set their alarm clocks as the sale starts at 6:30 a.m., running through 9 a.m. In addition to the huge sale, special doorbusters and mystery markdowns are also promised.

In case you haven't heard of it yet, Give Kids the World is a nonprofit that allows families with children that have life threatening illnesses to come to Central Florida and experience a cost-free dream vacation. Free Movie Day at DD AMC Theater

We recently told you about the in-theater dining experience coming soon to Downtown Disney's AMC Theaters. Now, that same theater is offering a chance for guests to preview the new experience this Friday May 13.
