Located in what was once a barracks on the main post of San Francisco's Presidio, the Walt Disney Family Museum is 40,000 square feet that honors Walt Disney's life and achievements. Last month, I had the chance to visit and spend a few hours learning about the man that brought so much happiness to this world.

Across the path from the Dawa Bar in the Harambe Village section of Disney's Animal Kingdom you'll find one of those lovely spots that have a way of bring strangers together for a fantastic Disney moment. Part of Walt Disney World's highly anticipated Fantasyland expansion in Magic Kingdom has already opened, and earlier this week, Mickey and Company gave guests an idea of when to expect other phases of the project to be complete.

While some of Storybook Circus attractions have opened to guests, the rest of the area is expected to open this summer. Look for the second half of the Dumbo the Flying Elephant ride and the Casey Jr. Splash 'n' Soak station to be ready for guests in July.

Cab fare in Orlando just got a little steeper as the City Council voted this past Monday to increase rates by 9 percent. Though this isn't directly involving the happiest place on earth, there are Disney World guests that do utilize cab services when visiting central Florida.

While the fare increase applies only to the city of Orlando, Mears Transportation owns around half of the taxi cabs servicing in and around the city. A spokesperson for that company said Mears plans to adhere to the rate increase throughout the Orlando area.

Within the colorful building that houses Animal Kingdom's Yak & Yeti restaurant you'll find one of two full service bars located in Disney's Animal Kingdom. However that's not where we're going to stop today for our featured bar. Today we're headed around to the back of the building, past the Anandupur Local Food Cafes counter service. Back towards the secluded garden near the bubbling fountain, where we'll find the last service window of Quality Beverages.

It's a familiar and beloved sight of the Magic Kingdom, and now the Florida Association of the America Institute of Architects (AIA Florida) has named Cinderella Castle as one of the Top 100 Buildings in Florida and the Top Building in the Recreational Agriculture Category. The honors come as part of the AIA Florida's "100 Years. 100 Places." celebration of its 100 year anniversary.
