The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is in full swing in Walt Disney World, and one of the festival's new exhibits this year has its roots in Haiti. The Haiti: Garden of Many Colors addition showcases many flowers and crops native to Haiti.

Extra batteries and chargers are staple items to add to your tech bag before leaving on vacation. In my bag you'll find a variety of chargers to keep me going throughout my day of heavy touring. For my usage of heavy tweeting and texting during vacations, my iPhone battery will last me until about mid-day. After that it's time to plug in and power up to both keep in touch with the rest of our party, and share the fun with my Twitter stream. In the past if you forgot your spare battery you were just plain out of luck, but now if you forget, now Disney's got your back.

There are spots scattered around Disney Parks and resorts that not only provide their section of the park with themed atmosphere, but also have the effect of bringing people together. The most beloved of these places may be the jumping fountains outside of the Imagination Pavilion.

One of the things that I love most about Disney is the great access that they offer fans to the artists who create the works that we love. In March of 2012 Disney Design Group's Artist Alex Maher will make a very special appearance on Friday, March 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, March 31 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Art of Disney in Downtown Disney Marketplace.

If you're planning a trip to Disney in late March or early April and need something else to help round out your itinerary, then take note of these two upcoming events: a Walt Disney World Artist Showcase and a book signing.

Disney recently released the dates the different themed wings from Disney's newest resort, Art of Animation, will open - and the dates may just be sooner than anyone had anticipated.

First off, the grand opening will take place May 31 as the "Finding Nemo" themed wing opens for guests. Next, the "Cars" will open June 18 followed by "The Lion King" on August 10. The opening of "The Little Mermaid" on September 15 rounds out the rest of the resort's room openings.

Located in the main building of Port Orleans French Quarter you'll find the jazzy Scat Cats Club. If you're looking for a laid back evening, this is a great place to grab a cocktail and be entertained by the music stylings Elliot Dyson.

Walt Disney believed in careful stewardship of the land so that it would be a source of beauty and wonder for generations to come. A mere six weeks before his death, Walt Disney received an award from the American Forestry Association "for outstanding service in conservation of American resources". His tireless efforts on behalf of the natural world are honored today by the company that he founded by making ground breaking strides in caring for and protecting our natural resources while sustaining the ability to share them with the nation.

Wi-Fi has caught up to Disney. As of this month, all Walt Disney World resorts and hotels will have complimentary Wi-Fi high-speed internet access in certain areas.

Each resort (with the exception of Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground) will have Wi-Fi access at the following areas:

• Porte Cochere
• Main Lobby
• Bus stops
• Guest rooms
• Feature Pool (one pool at each; specified for some resorts below)
