Lots of great writing from around the web by some of our favorite Disney web sites.

$25 Million Renovations for Sheraton Safari

The Sheraton Safari recently gained some new owners and will undergoing a transformation to the tune of $25 million. Earlier this month, the New York-based companies AREA Property Partners and Winston Harton Holdings, LLC, purchased the hotel for an undisclosed amount.

Renovations on the 489-room hotel were set to commence immediately following the sale with an anticipated completion in spring 2012. The hotel will keep the Sheraton name even after the renovations are complete.

The Sheraton Safari is located on Apopka Vineland Road right outside Walt Disney World.

Must Do and Won't Do

So far we've given you our background and our love of food, music, and movies. The one "big" aspect of Disney we haven't touched on yet is the parks themselves. We decided, as we did with the other topics, to start broadly.

Monthly Payment Plan Available To Florida Annual Passholders

Florida residents wishing to purchase an annual Walt Disney World pass now have a monthly payment plan option. As you might imagine, this plan would allow the cost of the pass spread out over twelve months.

It is worth noting, though, that those wanting to take part in this option need to be ready to pay one day's admission when buying the annual pass. The remaining cost is then billed to the passholder for the next twelve months with no attached finance charges.
