The Best New Bite at the 2015 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival

Epcot's 2015 International Food and Wine Festival is in Full Swing now, and Guests traveling between now and November 16th, 2015 have the opportunity to sip and taste their way to bliss as they stroll the shores of World Showcase Lagoon. While the festival brought back many fan favorites, I'm also hearing raves for new selections from the Marketplace Booths. So we're letting you know where to go to get the dish that has gotten the most buzz for Best New Bite.

If you love chocolate, ice cream, and science, then we're talking about THE Festival sensation made especially for you. The hottest culinary tech comes together to create incredible new flavors with at the 2015 Chew Lab Marketplace Booth. This fun stop on your culinary tour is located in the new "Next Eats" Festival Area (on the garden path between the Imagination Pavilion and World Showcase) and it's home to the amazing Liquid Nitro Chocolate Almond Truffle with Warm Whiskey Caramel.

So - Why is freezing with liquid nitrogen ice cream so special? Well, because it's faster, and that means that there is less of a chance to develop large ice crystals that dilute the flavor and create a grainy texture. Nitrogen frozen desserts have a richer, creamier texture that's packed with flavor.

The Chew Lab is serving up a frozen chocolate almond truffle that melts into a creamy mouse like texture. It's drizzled with a sweet caramel that has been taken to another level with the subtle addition of whiskey. Then topped with a dusting of crunchy almond crumble goodness. When everything gets in your mouth at once, it may be the perfect bite, and certainly a top contender for the best new bite of Epcot's Food & Wine Festival.
