Those many travelers are familiar that Walt Disney World is home to the full service Senses Spas at the Grand Floridian Resort and Saratoga Springs Resort & Villas, fewer are aware that a limited selection of spa services are available at other Disney Resort properties as well.





Guests who aren't looking for the full spa experience, but still want to indulge in a little "me time" can take a break from touring for some quality personal time to unwind and recharge with a massage or facial designed to invigorate the body and relax the mind.

Which Disney hotels offer limited spa services? These do!

• Disney's Wilderness Lodge, Sturdy Branches Health Club
• Disney's Contemporary Resort, Olympiad Fitness Center
• Disney Yacht & Beach Clubs, Ship Shape Massage Salon and Fitness
• Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, La Vida Health Club
• Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, The Zahanati Massage & Fitness Center at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge has even been honored in years past by Conde Nast Traveler Magazine as one of the Readers Favorite resort Spas

The standard selection of treatments at the above spa centers include the following:

• Swedish Massage, which is one of the most popular massage techniques, uses kneading and long strokes to increase the circulation, and relax the muscles as well as joints. 50 minutes for $115, or 80 minutes for $175.




• In-Room Swedish Massages are also offered to guests at these Disney Resort Hotels. 50 minutes for $185, or 80 minutes for $250




• Custom Firm-Pressure Massage, reaching for deeper tissue holding tension this type of massage is for the relief of stiff knots. The intense work of techniques designed to penetrate muscles means this therapy can sometimes be intense and uncomfortable. The therapist will work with your unique trouble spots for the most benefit. 50 minutes for $125, or 80 minutes for $180




• Rejuvenating Citrus Facial will freshen up and revitalize your skin with a custom blend of tangy citrus fruits, flowers and herbs selected to match your skin type. 50 minutes for $185

Appointments for resort spa services are strongly recommended. Guests choosing to cancel or modify an existing appointment must do so a minimum of 4 hours from their scheduled treatment time or be charged the price of the full treatment. Guests can make reservations by calling (407) WDW-SPAS or (407) 939-7727 as far in advance as possible.

As with all things Disney, the above prices and services are subject to change without notice. Gratuities are not included in the above prices, general spa etiquette in the U.S. suggests that spa therapists be tipped 15-20% for good service.
