Did you know that May 11th,2016 is National Eat What You Want Day? Well it is! I know I'll be celebrating from home, but I couldn't help but wonder what I would be eating on this most auspicious day if I were in Walt Disney World. So here you have it, my top 6, no rules, eat what I want picks for Disney Dining. At least what I'd eat today. There are so many great choices tomorrow's list might be completely different!

I would start my day off with Pineapple Macadamia Nut Pancakes and a Press Pot of coffee at Disney's Polynesian Village's Kona Cafe. I love breakfast here not only for the delicious pancakes, but I enjoy the view of families shuffling through the lobby on their way to the monorail as they head to the Park.

Mickey Krispie Treat, because there is just something more wonderful about a krispie treat when it's shaped like the mouse. My personal choice for these fan favorite treats is simply plain and on a stick, but if you get yours at Goofy's Candy Company in Disney Springs there are hundreds of flavor combinations just waiting for you!

I love having lunch at Sanaa nestled deep within Disney's Kidani Village Resort, and the Tandoori Chicken Sandwiches served open-faced on fresh Naan with Minted Greens, Tomato, Onion, and Cucumber Raita is one of my must eats. Even for those who aren't sure that they're adventurous enough for Sanaa, this is a winner. Plus the lunchtime savanna view at Sanaa is one of the best-kept secret pleasures you can have.

I need to have a Dole Whip, I don't really care where it comes from, the Polynesian's Pineapple Lanai, Aloha Isle in the Magic Kingdom, or even in Animal Kingdom at Tamu Tamu Refreshments. Just a Dole whip, straight up cool creamy pineapple goodness.

Arancini from Via Napoli in Epcot's Italian Pavilion are one of my favorite blissful bites in Epcot. I do love arancini, and though you can find them elsewhere at Disney, Via Napoli's at a perfect bit of rich cream risotto rice filled with flavor and deep fried, only then to be nestled in a mildly sweet tomato sauce. It's happiness brought right to your table.

Big surprise - more pineapple! A Lapu Lapu at Tambu Lounge in Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Yes, I now it's technically a drink - but scooping all that yummy fresh pineapple infused with rum out after I'm finished is one of my favorite parts of this tropical concoction. No judging here - eat what you want!
