Enjoy Authentic Italian Cuisine at Epcot’s Tutto Italia

Lately there seems to be an abundance of Italian restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort, especially with the opening of Trattoria al Forno last year. Basically if you're craving pasta you can get your fill at quite a few locations. Today we'll be visiting Tutto Italia located in Epcot's Italy pavilion.

Tutto Italia went through a renovation a few years back and an outdoor patio seating area was added to the restaurant. Diners can be seated outside or in one of the two inside dining areas, the "sun room" or the main dining room. The interior of the restaurant features large murals, chandeliers, and seating in both tables and chairs.

The menu at lunch and dinner features appetizers including Prosciutto de Parma, a Grande Antipasto Misto (for two!), Calamari, several salads, and Minestrone soup. If you're looking to save a little bit of money it's also fun to order a couple appetizers to share instead of ordering big meals. This is a good plan during the summer months when it's often "too hot to eat."

Tutto Italia's lunch menu features some "lighter" dishes for entrees including a Caprese Panini and a Salumiere Panini in addition to a Caesar Salad (with chicken or without). If you're looking for something a bit heartier at lunch there are quite a few pasta dishes including Fettuccine Campagnole, Lasagna alla Bolognese, and even Spaghetti with meatballs.

At dinner the entrees include several of the same pasta dishes as lunch, a steak option, roasted chicken, and filet of sole. A popular dish is the Polenta Valsugana, which features creamy polenta with braised short ribs, meatball and sweet sausage.

If you're dining with the kids they can choose from spaghetti with meatballs, mozzarella sticks, pan seared pizza, or chicken tenders.

And since no meal is complete without dessert, you can choose from sweet treats including Mocha Tiramisu, Gelato, Sorbetti, and even a gluten-free panna cotta.

Tutto Italia is one of the pricier restaurants at Epcot but if you're on the Disney Dining Plan it'll only cost you one table service credit. Advance Dining Reservations are available (and recommended) for lunch and dinner. If it's not too hot outside we recommend requesting a table in the outside seating area as you'll have a lovely view of the center of the Italy pavilion.

My wife and I after several attempts to get into this wonderful place we were able to last fall. The food was wonderful, great service, and beautiful surrounding.
Now this is on our list for future visits. In fact we are going back this year, yes we do the trip once or twice a year from Cincinnati, in June and this was the first place I went on line to get our reservation. Looking forward to another Great Meal.
