Greenhouse Guru Marketplace Booth at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival

New this year at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is the Greenhouse Guru Marketplace Booth. This refreshing booth is sponsored by Florida local greenhouse, Village Farms, and offers one of the most anticipated Festival dishes in it's Duck Confit. Located in the Next Eats section - the Greenhouse Guru is Booth #31 on the festival map, sitting between the Club Cool and World Showcase. Don't miss this Next Eats path on your way to World Showcase, because they are cooking up some of my favorite things at the 2016 Festival.

The Next Eats courtyard is a beautifully themed garden that also houses The Chew Collective. Along with cocktail tables and umbrellas, a long curved bench offers ample seating beneath trellises full of live tomato vines. The vines highlight the benefits of tomatoes and offer a guide to picking the perfectly ripe little gems.

I tried the Heirloom Tomato Salad with Goat Cheese, Aged Balsamic Vinegar and Micro-Basil, paired with a refreshing glass of Chateau Ste. Michelle Cold Creek Vineyard Riesling.

The salad is a light and refreshing bite, with fresh garden fresh flavor, and a mild creamy goat cheese dazzled in aged Balsamic. A perfect dish for a hot day, and micro-basil, I absolutely need more of that in my life. Both vegetarian, and gluten friendly, it's a healthy choice when you need a break from the heavier festival fare.
