Snacking Around The World At Epcot Isn’t Just For Food & Wine Festival

Eating your way around World Showcase is a popular way to spend the day during the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, but if you've missed this year's event - never fear - you can snack your way through the park all year long. The counter service restaurant located throughout the eleven international pavilions are more than enough to treat a hungry traveler to an exotic buffet that takes all day long to experience.

It's Never A Bad Time of Year To Eat Around The WorldIt's Never A Bad Time of Year To Eat Around The World

My family was fond of snacking our way around World Showcase long before the Food & Wine Festival began, and these days the benefits still remain. You never need a reservation, each member of the touring party will get to hit a spot that they want to go to most, and eating smaller amounts can keep you from feeling sluggish in the afternoon heat.

So what's worth a try while making your way around the lagoon? Here are just a few of my favorites!

Canada - There's not really a quick service restaurant here, but while you're browsing around you can grab a bag of Covered Bridge Chips in Ketchup flavor to wake up your taste buds.

United Kingdom - Fish and Chips from Yorkshire County are my husband's favorite way to kick off his food crawl.

France - My favorite stop here is for a Gray Goose Citron Slush! However if you're looking for some real food, check out Les Halles Bakery for a Dinde BLT or a little something sweet.

Morocco - Baklava at the Tanngerine Cafe is always a winner with my crew, but a sampler plate of shwarma for everyone to share.

Japan - Fresh sushi can be found at the Kabuki Cafe, if that's not your style, give the Green Tea Ice Cream or Kakigori a try.

America - Funnel Cake! You can find these delicious mounds of fried dough covered in powdered sugar, ice cream, apples, strawberries, or chocolate sauce. Be sure to grab some extra napkins.

Italy - A wine stop for hubby and I, I can't pass through without grabbing a glass of Banfi's Rosa Regale at Enoteca Castello.

Germany - Karamell-Kuche is the place to find everything you've ever dreamed of in buttery, gooey Werther's caramel. The chocolate covered caramel strawberry is one of my favorites.

China - Egg Rolls from the Lotus Blossom Cafe are great food to snack on while strolling through the beautiful gardens of the China Pavilion.

Norway - The fan favorite dish that gets raves all year long in Norway is the School Bread from Kringala Og Cafe. This cardamom bun filled with vanilla custard and then topped with toasted coconut is legendary.

Mexico - Tacos de Carne are a must eat on my list, and go perfectly with a raspberry lime margarita at La Cantina de San Angel. If you can get a table by the water here just before Illuminations it's a fantastic place to watch the show.

The beef noodle bowl, orange chicken and pot stickers from the Lotus Blossom in China are a must have. I am from Long Island, NY and we are surrounded by Chinese restaurants. Believe me, NONE compare to this.

I love the Flautas and the Churros with caramel dipping sauce from La Cantina in Mexico.
