Disney’s Contemporary Resort Hosting Christmas Day Religious Services

The Walt Disney World Resort Announces Grant to Help Homeless Families in Central Florida

Christmas came early to a Central Florida fund set up to aid the homeless. The Walt Disney World Resort recently announced a $500,000 grant for the Homeless Impact Fund which was established by the Central Florida Commission on Homelessness.

Limited Edition Sorcerer's of the Magic Kingdom Card To Be Distributed at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

We mentioned last week in the WDWFG Newsletter that Queen Elsa will be reigning over a new holiday stage show in the Magic Kingdom. The show, called "A Frozen Holiday Wish" will feature Anna, her sister Elsa, and many of their 'Frozen' friends live on the Castle Forecourt Stage. The highlight of the fun spectacle is when Elsa turns Cinderella Castle into a glittering ice palace.

We've covered many delicious treats for on-site snacking all over Walt Disney World, but some of my favorite souvenirs to bring home for friends and family are the wide variety of pre-packaged and take-home treats and sweets. Holidays Around the World: The Storytellers Of Epcot's World Showcase

For all of the deserved hype that the Osborne Lights, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, and Candlelight Processional get during the holidays, there is one neglected bit of yuletide delight hiding in Walt Disney World. The storytellers at Holidays Around the World in EPCOT are phenomenal! It can be difficult to catch every presentation and it is not possible to see the storytellers sequentially, but making the effort is worth it.

Given the hundreds of musicians who pile onstage at Epcot's American Gardens Theater to help the guest narrator to bring the story of the first Christmas to life, it is amazing that there was not a single sour note during the performance.
