Disney and PANDORA Jewelry Announce New Alliance with Merchandise Line and More

The announcement of a new "strategic alliance" between The Walt Disney Company and PANDORA Jewelry goes beyond bracelets and beads.

The partnership also brings with it PANDORA's sponsorship of the Wishes fireworks at the Magic Kingdom beginning this fall. And in 2015 the jewelry company will also become the presenting sponsor of the Tinker Bell Half Marathon at Disneyland.

Characters from ‘Big Hero 6’ Arriving at Disney Parks this Fall

The stars from Walt Disney Animation Studios' newest film are headed to Disneyland and Walt Disney World later this fall.

Hiro and his pal Baymax from the upcoming animated film Big Hero 6 are scheduled to start meeting theme park guests in the next couple of months.

Disney has not yet released details on exact meet-and-greet locations at Disneyland Resort or the Walt Disney World Resort.

WonderGround Gallery Merchandise Added to Marketplace Co-Op in Downtown Disney

The Marketplace Co-Op at Downtown Disney has added another boutique area to the retail space, and this one hails from Disneyland.

The WonderGround Gallery now has a showcase of merchandise just inside the doors of the Co-Op.

Guests at Disneyland can find the original WonderGround Gallery at the Downtown Disney District. The west coast store opened in 2012 showcases unique art collections by various artists.

Disney Parks and Resorts Inspire New Line of Coffee from Joffrey’s

Even if you can't wake up at your favorite Disney theme park or hotel every morning you can enjoy a cup of coffee inspired by those locations thanks to Joffrey's.

The Tampa, Florida based specialty roasting company recently introduced the Disney Parks and Resorts Specialty Coffee Collection featuring nine blends inspired by the theme parks and hotels.

Joffrey's head roastmaster collaborated with top Disney chefs to create the specialty blends.

‘Walt Disney’ to Premiere on ‘American Experience’ on PBS in 2015

PBS has announced a new four-hour, two-night film exploring the life and legacy of Walt Disney.

The film, Walt Disney, will premiere in 2015 on American Experience.

Walt Disney is being produced and directed by Sarah Colt (Henry Ford, RFK) and was written by Mark Zwonitzer (JFK, Triangle Fire).

Hidden Mickey Pins Arriving at the Disney Parks this Month

A second wave of Hidden Mickey pins arrived at Walt Disney World and Disneyland in July.

The Hidden Mickey pins are distributed to cast members to use for pin trading with guests. There are two sets of pins: one specific to Disneyland and one for Walt Disney World.

The Disneyland Hidden Mickey pins feature an assortment of setsfeaturing: chalk sketches of Disney characters, Disney Birds, Deck of Cards pins with Disney characters, Villainous Sidekicks, Tea Pots inspired by Disney characters, and silver-colored chaser pins.
