Today we're excited to share that the show is being updated with sharp new video and familiar Disney music to offer guests the next chapter in this stirring story on the Discovery river.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Honored for Conservation Work with Taveta Golden Weavers

Disney's Animal Kingdom was recently recognized for its successful Taveta golden weaver sustainability program.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Welcomes Two Baby Gorillas

For the second time in a month, a baby gorilla was born at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

The first gorilla was born August 7 to mom Azizi and dad Gino, and the second gorilla was born September 3 to Kashata and Gino. Both gorillas are male.

The lowland gorilla family lives on the Pangani Forest Exploration Trail and also includes an adult female named Benga, and a four-year-old female named Lilly who was born to Kashata.
