Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park Vice Presidents Switch Jobs

In a move that many believe signals big changes at Disney's Hollywood Studios, two theme park vice presidents have swapped roles. Magic Kingdom vice president Phil Holmes is trading places with Disney's Hollywood Studios vice president Dan Cockrell in the next month.

Ice Palace Boutique Coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for Frozen Summer Fun

Walt Disney World Resort Removes Confederate Flag from Display in American Adventure Pavilion

The Walt Disney World Resort has recently removed two controversial items from its theme parks. A confederate banner was removed from a flag display at Epcot's American Adventure pavilion and a bust of comedian Bill Cosby was removed from Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Walt Disney World Resort Testing Food Pre-Order at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

There's more technology testing happening at the Walt Disney World Resort, this time at Disney's Hollywood Studios. The latest test is happening at the Backlot Express and involves pre-ordering your food for the quick service spot. There's also a test of in-seat food delivery during Fantasmic! performances.

The Top Quick Service Spots at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

When one thinks about eating at Disney's Hollywood Studios restaurants like the 50's Prime Time Cafe, Hollywood & Vine, the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater, and Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano might be the first locations that come to mind. This is one park that isn't known for having a slew of awesome quick service locations.

The 2014 Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights [Video]

It started back in 1986 when a little girl named Breezy asked her Dad if they could string a few Christmas lights at their Little Rock, Arkansas home. That display grew and grew each year until 1995, when the display was shut down by court order. After national attention was brought to the case, the Walt Disney Company stepped in and offered up residential street on the Studios Backlot Tour where it was an instant hit. Eventually, as the focus of the Backlot Tour changed the holiday lights were moved to the Streets of America.

If your idea of fun is a dark coaster that goes from 0 to 60 in just under three seconds, then the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster at Disney's Hollywood Studios is the perfect attraction for you.

Take a Thrilling Ride into the Unknown on The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

If you're a thrill-seeker then you probably already have The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror on your must-ride list of attractions.

But if you haven't had a chance to experience this attraction yet and you only have a slight fear of falling elevators and dark rides, I would suggest adding it to your FastPass+ selections on your next visit. After riding it for the very first time ever a few weeks ago, the Tower of Terror is my new favorite attraction at the Studios.
