Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train are Two of the Highlights for 2014 at Walt Disney World

Next year promises to be a very magical year for guests at the Walt Disney World Resort with the opening of a new attraction and the debut of a new parade at the Magic Kingdom, plus much more.

The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is set to open in the spring of 2014, completing the New Fantasyland expansion at the Magic Kingdom. The ride takes guests on a musical ride through the mines, and was inspired by the classic animated film.

Festival of the Seasons Kicks Off at Downtown Disney at the Walt Disney World Resort

The holiday season is in full swing at Downtown Disney with the start of the annual Festival of the Seasons.

The Festival of the Seasons runs through December 30 and brings special holiday touches to the Downtown Disney area, complete with twinkling lights, a Christmas tree, live entertainment, and even Santa Claus.

Fit2Run Runner’s Superstore Coming to Downtown Disney

Racers and reluctant runners have a new place to find the perfect footwear. Fit2Run, The Runner's Superstore, is opening this fall at Downtown Disney.

Fit2Run offers runners the chance to find a perfect fit when it comes to their footwear, and will also be offering a complimentary video-taped gait analysis and an iStep barometric scanning. These offerings will help guests find the right shoe for their feet.

B Hotel Coming to Downtown Disney Resort Area in Early 2014

The Downtown Disney Resort Area is getting a new hotel in early 2014.

The B Hotel is scheduled to open in the former Royal Plaza Hotel in February of next year. The hotel is reportedly going to be a part of the Downtown Disney resorts when it opens, making it an Official Walt Disney World Hotel. The former Royal Plaza Hotel was also an Official Walt Disney World Hotel.
