Dole Whip Shirts Now In Disney Parks

Grab 'em while they're hot. Make that cool. Whatever way you slice it, foodies will love the new shirts in Disney parks featuring the iconic Disney treat Dole Whip.

Richard Terpstra is the artist on the softlines team responsible for bringing a favorite Disney snack to a shirt near you. In addition to the Dole Whip shirt, Terpstra has also created a tee featuring the beloved Disney churros.

Both feature a retro style. Casey Jones, a Disney Design Group artist, had this to say about the new styles and fellow artist Terpstra's work:

On the go in Epcot, but craving some Italian food? Good news! Recently, a new to-go Italian food kiosk has opened in the World Showcase while renovations are being made to Tutto Italia and the new Gusto Wine Bar is being built.

The kiosk serves up some well known Italian classics such as ravioli and pasta e fagioli and also has a selection of beer and wine. Guests can even grab a cannoli for desert.

New Buffet Trialed at Disney's Coronado Springs

Guests going to grab a bite to eat at the Pepper Market, an eating destination in Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, may have noticed a change recently. A new buffet concept has been rolled out and trialed with guests there in place of the Market's food court.

While the Pepper Market looks much the same, the change comes in that guests will pay a set price for an all-you-care-to-eat buffet filled with many food dishes instead of paying for different items at different stations.

"Crossroads at House of Blues" Debuts at Downtown Disney Anaheim

It's been a staple in the Downtown Disney restaurant scene for some time now, and now the House of Blues has some new fare to offer guests. Earlier this week, a menu designed by celebrity chef Aaron Sanchez called "Crossroads at House of Blues" debuted.

The addition to the House of Blues' menu takes some inspiration from all parts of the world and offers new dishes like shrimp and grits, chile braised short ribs, hand stretched grilled flatbeds and street tacos. The new items appear along side updated restaurant signature dishes and old favorites.

Chef Sanchez said the House of Blues:

A Bit of Magic Kingdom Food News

For all of you WDW foodies out there, here is some news for you! It looks like there are a few new menu items to be had in the Magic Kingdom, including a Mickey pretzel.

Turns out, the pretzel is already popular at Disneyland and is being tested out at the Magic Kingdom. If you'd like to give the snack a try, head over to the Frontierland Pretzel Wagon (look for it between the Pecos Bill Cafe and the Diamond Horseshoe); at present, this is the only location within WDW to sell this iconic treat.

Lunch at Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano in Disney's Hollywood Studios

Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano has been a table service staple at Disney's Hollywood Studio for decades. Tucked in the far back of the Muppets Courtyard, past 'PizzaRizzo' and 'It's A Wonderful Shop', the brightly colored awning and streamers of overhead flags welcome hungry guests to come inside and enjoy a meal. My son and I recently stopped in to try Mama Melrose's for lunch.

Two Ways To Experience ‘Ohana Dinner at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort

According to Lilo, 'Ohana means family. But Lilo was wrong. 'Ohana means food. And more food. And then just when you think you're finished, more food. Dinner at 'Ohana is an experience, one that has been panned in recent years for being lackluster or past its prime by some, but our family completely disagrees. 'Ohana is a light hearted Disney classic, a great family meal served up in the heart of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.
