Even if you can't be in the Magic Kingdom on New Year's Eve to ring in 2015 with tens of thousands of other guests, you can still be part of the magic from the comfort of your living room. The Disney Parks Blog will be live streaming the New Year's Eve presentation of 'Fantasy in the Sky' fireworks.

Retail MagicBands Give Walt Disney World Guests the Option to ‘Link-it-Later’

There is a new option for the retail MagicBands sold at the Walt Disney World Resort.

It's called 'Link-It-Later' and this option gives guests the option to purchase a retail MagicBand and link it to a valid theme park admission at a later date.

Before the launch of Link-It-Later, guests who purchased a retail MagicBand had to link it at the time of purchase with a valid theme park admission, Memory Maker card, or another active MagicBand.

Apple Pay Coming to Walt Disney World Resort in October

Guests at the Walt Disney World Resort will have a new way to pay for merchandise in October, provided they have the new iPhone 6.

Apple Pay is coming to the Walt Disney World Resort this fall and it will allow guests to make purchases at locations throughout the resort using their iPhone.

Paying for purchases with Apple Pay requires a single step and Disney joins merchandisers including Macy's, Whole Foods, Bloomingdales, McDonald's, Subway, and Staples as the first retailers and restaurants where Apple Pay will be utilized.

Magic Kingdom’s ‘Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It!’ Street Party to be Updated this Fall

Walt Disney World is updating the Magic Kingdom's 'Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It!' Street Party.

Starting this fall the street party is getting a new name in addition to several new characters including Stitch and Phineas and Ferb. Once the updates have been made it will be known as the 'Move It! Shake It! Dance & Play It!' Street Party.

The updated procession will still begin on Main Street U.S.A. and will make its way to Cinderella Castle. The emcee, stilt walkers, and characters will still be part of the new program.

Disney Denies Claims Presented in Americans with Disabilities Act Lawsuit

Disney has filed a response to the lawsuit filed in April by 16 families who said the theme parks' Disability Access Service violates the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

In the original lawsuit, the families of 16 children and young adults with autism and other developmental disabilities alleged that the new Disability Access Service is unsuited to the needs of guests with special needs.

Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Hotel to Offer Elf Tuck-ins and More for Holiday Season

Guests as the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel can experience some holiday magic this year with the resort's Holiday Happenings event.

The month-long Holiday Happenings event begins in December and will feature a Florida-themed Santa and Mrs. Claus who will be meeting and greeting guests in Santa's tiki hut. The hut will be decorated with palm trees, flamingos, and reindeer.
