The Muppets Are Coming to the Magic Kingdom this Fall with a New Live Show

The Muppets are coming to Liberty Square in the Magic Kingdom this fall with an all-new show, 'The Muppets Present...Great Moments in American History.' The new show will be performed outside the Hall of Presidents.

A Bit of Magic Kingdom Food News

For all of you WDW foodies out there, here is some news for you! It looks like there are a few new menu items to be had in the Magic Kingdom, including a Mickey pretzel.

Turns out, the pretzel is already popular at Disneyland and is being tested out at the Magic Kingdom. If you'd like to give the snack a try, head over to the Frontierland Pretzel Wagon (look for it between the Pecos Bill Cafe and the Diamond Horseshoe); at present, this is the only location within WDW to sell this iconic treat.

Disney History: Liberty Square Then & Now

As much as the challenge of Tomorrowland is keeping up with real world innovation, the benefit of Liberty Square is that history rarely changes, making innovation in this land relatively unnecessary. Also, with only three attractions, very little updating is needed to keep this cozy American town running at peak efficiency.

Saturday Style Tomb Sweet Tomb Edition: Memento Mori

Haunted Mansion fans can now continue their experience at the newly themed Liberty Square Boutique, Momento Mori. Guests in this unique boutique (rumored to have once been the home of Madame Leota) will be able to pick up all the latest from the pages of Better Tombs and Gardens. The authentic Haunted Mansion merchandise created especially for the Disney Parks will pay homage to the story and details within Disney's classic attraction, and will include a wide range of clothing as well as home goods.

Solve Riddles during a Guided Scavenger Hunt in the Magic Kingdom on Disney's Family Magic Tour

If you have ever wanted to get a guided tour of the Magic Kingdom that includes a scavenger hunt and a few special surprises, then Disney's Family Magic Tour is for you!

I recently had the chance to take this tour with my family and it is definitely something I would recommend for families with young kids (ages 4 to 10 years old).

Haunted Mansion Merchandise Arriving at Disney Parks, Plus a New Store Planned for Magic Kingdom

Get a Lesson in American and Presidential History at The Hall of Presidents in the Magic Kingdom

As you're touring the Magic Kingdom, indulging in thrill rides, character meet-and-greets, and Dole Whip floats, there is a classic attraction located in Liberty Square that should be on everyone's "must-see" list.

We're talking of course about The Hall of Presidents.

Art and Artifacts On Display at The Hall of Presidents

The Hall of Presidents attraction at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom opened with the park back in 1971. Once of the classic Disney attractions it takes center stage in Liberty Square with a 25 minute film and show featuring Audio-Animatronic figures of all the past and present U.S. Presidents. Being somewhat of a history geek, I enjoying stopping to watch the show, especially on a hot day.
