Thanks! I carried an empty fancy jewelry box around that looked like the one in the movie. And instead of poisonous apples I made apple martinis for everyone. It was a ton of fun!

Fess up, what is it you like and dislike about Disney that differs from most of us.

I like this question Scrappy.

Like - I really like Dinosaur! A lot of people here have said they don't like it. It's too jerky, not thought out, etc. I really enjoyed it. I laughed the entire time and really wanted to go on again!

Dislike - POR. We stayed there for the majority of our trip. I booked it before finding this board and then saw everyone talk about how much they loved it so I had a high hopes for it. I was a bit let down. The room needed some help (which I know they are being refurbished so maybe my room wasn't done yet), the food court was eh, the concierge was never very helpful, the lounge in the lobby was apathetic in service at best. The best service we received there was from the guy that delivered our luggage, a wonderful woman in the general store, and a young kid who called a cab for us one night. I'm not saying I would never stay there again but I would definitely think twice.

Glad you liked the question. I really like Dinosaur too although I agree most people seem not to. As far as POR goes I do not believe we have ever even stepped foot in it.

the grounds were beautiful. I loved the boat ride to DTD. Walking along the river in the morning with a cup of coffee was great. Next time I would try somewhere else.

If you were to be granted one "Magical Experience" while in Disney what would it be? This could be anything from a room upgrade, dinning plan upgrade, tour or anything Disney has to offer.

hmmm. I gave this some thought. I think I would like to be a princess for the day. Not just be treated like royalty. I mean get to be a disney princess. I want to sign those autographs, take pictures, be in the parade and make some little girl extremely happy to meet her idol. I know it's hard work and probably isn't as glamorous as it seems. But for one day, I would love it.

We had the same experience with our room, and asked to be changed, twice!; before we got a room I felt like I was paying for. The (non)service in the lobby/reservations was utterly unapologetic. I also think the food court is barely adequate, as far as space goes; and nothing special as far as the food offerings.

That being said, we are staying there again this fall, because all the rooms are now refurb. and no plans to eat in the food court. (I'd rather eat a bagel in my room.)

How long have you worked for Starbucks? Has there been much company buzz about their new locations at Disney?

What's your ultimate Disney fantasy trip? If money was no object...where would you stay, how long, and three favorite meals?

This is tough, but I like it.

I would like to go for 2 weeks during food and wine. Preferably stay at AKL in a suite. The first week I would like it to be just my husband and I. quiet strolls through F&W and epcot. Slowly getting through MK, all the rides we can handle on RNRC and ToT. The second week I would love to have all my little cousins there and their parents (my first cousins). I am very close to the my cousins on my dads side and their kids are like nieces and nephews to me. I would take them to all the character meals, get the royal treatment for the girls, take my cousin Eric through AK and let him dig for dinos!

I would go back to Jiko with my husband.
since this is a fantasy I would take the whole family to the Fireworks Factory that used to be on pleasure island I believe
Dinner at the Italy Pavillion with just the adults!

Awesome!

I have worked for Starbucks for 7 years and I have been a Store manager for 3. There really hasn't been much buzz about the new locations in DL and WDW. There was a statement sent out to all store managers with a guide on how to answer questions. AKA don't talk to media and don't say anything stupid. laugh

However, that's not unlike Starbucks to sweep this big news under the rug. To them it's just another partnering. To us disney and starbucks fans this is huge! I have been keeping my ear to the ground for more insider information for all of you.

My 2 cents: I think Disney has more control over this partnering than Starbucks wants to admit. Both companies have a brand and it looks like disney won the brand control. I don't think the employees at the disney starbucks will be actual starbucks partners but instead cast members. Meaning I don't think it will be a starbucks company operated location, but instead a licensed store. I just want to know if I can get my partner discount. mickey
