I'm almost afraid to admit mine after scrolling through the thread but here goes...
I'm not that into meet and greets with characters.
I wasn't even into it as a child.
They didn't scare me... it was more like, "Oh look, it's Cinderella. That's cool. What's next?"
That said, I'm perfectly fine with making sure little kids who are with me get their chance to meet characters if they want. And I like to people watch sometimes. You can't help but enjoy it when the kids get excited.
One of my funny Disney moments was when my cousin and I took a three day Disney trip as twenty-somethings. It was the first time either of us had been there since Toon Town had been opened. We were just wandering around not really planning anything and ended up in a line for what we thought was a show. It was a loooong line but it was cool out of the sun and we were tired so we figured what the heck. After a considerable amount of time I started paying attention to my surroundings and listening to the conversations around us.
I finally had to nudge my cousin and whisper to her... "We're in line to meet Mickey Mouse."
She wanted to leave but I told her we'd waited this long and by God we were going to meet the Mouse! I wonder whatever happened to that photo they took with my camera?
