nope it is a reflection but the surface isnt silver its a gray color that becomes almost black when wet.

Is it taken in the side of the escalator that goes up to the people mover?

It is the giant marble (or granite) globe near the people mover. My clue was the carving of the earth and Haze wet comment was because it is balanced and turns on a fountain. They say if the globe was removed the water would 250 ft into the air.
