We have a couple that have the maps with GPS on them, so I open the map on the phone and think about what is where, but then when the GPS tells me I am not there it makes me a bit sad
LOL

I hate when that happens. That's why I move all my WDW apps to teh back of the phone when I'm not there. Breaks my heart to see 'em!

It's just a joy to use. Everything just works, and very well. Web browsing is, for all intents and purposes, just like on a PC. It's easy to use for the non-techie but very customizable for geeks like me. Can do anything the iPhone can do and some things the iPhone can't.

Only had it a few days and its already my favorite phone ever (and let me tell you, I've had a few).

Thanks for your input. We like At&t but over the years (we've been with them for 5) the prices have just climbed and climbed and climbed to the point where it's too much.
I've heard good things about the Driod so we are seriously considering it.

I was a late comer to texting. I still don't text a ton, but it's a useful tool. Kind of hard to imagine how I lived without it now. Of course I feel the same way about my smart phone. What did I do when I couldn't check email and the web from my phone?

The reason I love texting is simple..I dont expect anyone to answer me right away...unlike a phone call

It really is handy. Definitely an age thing. I was a late-comer to texting. My mom still doesn't text really. Meanwhile I think younger people view it as the primary use of their phone. I don't know how school teachers deal with it.

Usually by banning phones from the classroom over here.

Well I'm sure they're still doing it, just probably not in the classrooms. Which makes sense. If they can bring them in at all though, I bet they sneak in texts under the desk.

A couple of my friends are teachers adn they have a box on their desk, drop you phone in the box otherwise if you are caught using it they treat it like plaguarizing or cheating. detention, suspension and expulsions and I can't say I blame them, the smart phones will give you any answer you need and texting can too.
Sorry this is my soap box about kids not learning anything but how to copy and paste.

That's even worse than texting! I don't see how you could let kids keep their phones in class and have any type of testing environment. I hadn't even thought of that.
