Disney Vacation Club members and their guests have the chance to try out two new and unique experiences at the Walt Disney World Resort this summer before the experiences are opened to the general public. Guests can choose from a "culinary adventure" experience or guided tour through the wilderness.

Earlier this year the Walt Disney World Resort announced plans to close the Walt Disney World Speedway, known affectionately as the Mickyard. The Speedway is home to the Richard Petty Driving Experience and was the home of the Exotic Driving Experience, which closed this spring after a fatal accident.

The opening of the new Frozen-themed attraction in Epcot's Norway pavilion won't happen until next year, but Disney has recently released new details about the attraction which will be housed in the former location of Maelstrom. The popular flume attraction closed last year after 25 years of taking guests back, back over the falls.

As we head into the warm summer months it might seem a bit early to be thinking about the winter holiday season, but the Disney Vacation Club wants members to think about this year's Merry Member Mixers that are planned for the winter holiday season.
