2016 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival Expanded to 90 Days

The 2016 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival has been expanded to 90 days and is scheduled to run from March 2 through May 30. Next year's festival will once again feature the Outdoor Kitchens, topiaries, gardens, and the Garden Rocks concert series

New character topiaries for 2016 include Donald Duck's nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie who are making their Festival debut with Donald and Daisy at the park's entrance garden. Ranger Mickey Mouse will also appear in topiary form to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the National Parks Service.

The Outdoor Kitchens will once again be serving up garden-inspired food and beverage offerings and guests can also enjoy the Disney-led gardening seminars throughout the run of the festival.

A new Floral Sun garden will be located behind Spaceship Earth featuring golden flowers. Yellow sunbursts of flowers will also be planted throughout Future World. A "Fab Five" play garden featuring musical instruments built into outdoor climbing systems is also debuting in 2016.

The Anna and Elsa topiaries will be located in the Norway pavilion. Other topiaries for 2016 include Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Lady and the Tramp, Simba, Peter Pan, and more.

The Festival will also feature 10 mini gardens including an edible flower garden near the Morocco pavilion. And after dark the topiary and play gardens will be illuminated giving guests an after-dark festival experience.

I love the flower & garden festival, and with as cold as it is right now, I'm happy to think about warmer weather.

Hi Ed - It hasn't been released by Disney yet, but we're hoping to see it in the next week or two.
