Delicious Details Announced for the 2013 Epcot Food & Wine Festival

There's still time to plan for the 2013 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, but some incredible details were recently announced.

New to the food lineup this year is a booth from Scotland, the home country of Disney's newest princess Merida. After not appearing last year, the Brazil Booth is returning to the with a new menu. Another favorite, the Hawai'i Booth returns " with its Kalua Pork Slider " and the vegan Terra Booth is also coming back, serving Trick'n Chicken Curry again. And last but not least, the Florida Local Booth is returning to this year's festival offering samples from local farms.

In addition to the amazing eats, there's a great group of celebrity chefs scheduled to appear at seminars, culinary demonstrations, wine tastings, and other events. The roster includes: Warren Brown, Paula DaSilva, Gale Gand, Jamie Deen, Robert Irvine, Dean Max, Rock Harper, Jeff Henderson, Art Smith, Buddy Valastro, Allen Susser, "Cake Boy" Eric Lanlard, Duskie Estes and John Stewart, Donald Link, Bryan Voltaggio and Emily Ellyn.

The "Eat to the Beat" nightly concerts are music to our Ears this year, with acts including The Go-Go's (September 30-October 1), Edwin McCain (October 10-11), The Manhattan Transfer (October 12-13), Spin Doctors (October 31-November 1), and Christopher Cross (November 2-3). During the entire festival 19 bands are slated to play, with STARSHIP with Mickey Thomas kicking off the series on September 27. Bands returning to the stage again this year include The Pointer Sisters, Smash Mouth, Boyz II Men, Sister Hazel, Air Supply, Hanson and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.

In addition to The Party for the Senses grand tasting events (scheduled for October 5, 12, 19, 26, and November 2) other events planned for this year include the "3D" Disney's Dessert Discovery on select Fridays, Cheese Seminars on Saturdays, and Sweet Sundays on Sundays. These special events require reservations and separate event admissions. Guests will be able to call 407-WDW-FEST to make reservations in August.

We will be there again this year. We have attended this event for the 7 years! Love it and always stay close by so we can enjoy!
