Disney Cruise Line Releases Quarterly Voluntary Crime Allegation Report

The Disney Cruise Line has released the most recent quarterly crime allegation disclosure report for the time period of April 1 through June 30.

The report is a voluntary disclosure by the cruise line and lists all alleged incidents that fall under the categories listed in the Cruise Vessel Security and Safety Act of 2010 (CVSSA).

During the April to June time period there were just two alleged incidents disclosed.

The first incident involved a Disney Cruise Line crew member and guest. The crew member was arrested once the ship returned to port and charged with two counts of lewd or lascivious molestation and one count of false imprisonment of a 13-year-old girl.

According to news reports the crew member pleaded not guilty but was denied bond during a hearing in April.

The second reported incident was an allegation made by one crew member against another and no charges have been filed in that case.

The Disney Cruise Line's report covers all cruises worldwide and all passengers and crew members.
