Happy Thursday! We're back with another Disney news round-up today. In today's news we're talking about animals returning to the Tree of Life at Disney's Animal Kingdom, a few "membership extras" for Disney Vacation Club members, and more.
Animals have returned to the Tree of Life at the Animal Kingdom
Several species of animals have returned to the Tree of Life at Disney's Animal Kingdom after being relocated during construction. Guests can now see kangaroos, lesser flamingos and now lappet-faced vultures as they walk the Discovery Island Trails.
Disney Vacation Club members who visit the Epcot International Festival of the Arts can receive a 15 percent discount off the price of the interactive workshops. And DVC members can also get a 20 percent discount off merchandise at the Festival.
Are the Atlanta Braves leaving the ESPN Wide World of Sports for spring training? Maybe. There are reports that the team is in negotiations with Sarasota County to move spring training to that area. If the Braves move it wouldn't happen until 2019.
It seems that an expansion is coming to Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. Plans have been filed for construction of seven new buildings in the current location of Barbados. There is no official word from Disney yet about this project, but reports say construction will start this year and end in 2019.

I'm so happy that they brought these animals back to the Discovery Island trails, and the Tree of Life Gardens are open again. Animal Kingdom just keeps getting better.
